A cold winter night, filled with dazzling light.
The Blue Mountain Village Association wanted to host a winter festival for visitors that would entertain and delight - with this simple goal the Blumination Dream Trail was born. The Dream Trail is a 1-km walking trail through the ski village and features tens of thousands of lights, 11 different installations, and an endless supply of smiles, we proudly won Ontario Tourism Event of the year for 2019. The festival continued into the following winter where more installations were added and the entire trail was synchronized to pop hits and classic holiday tracks.
It starts with a sketch
All our creations begin with a concept rendering. We work out the kinks and move into blueprinting, fabrication and assembly, and then finally wire up the LEDs and connecting to our controller computers. Once everything lights up, we connect to the network to be able to control the installation remotely, and synchronize with nearby lighting and sound elements.
